Scissor-tailed Flycatchers are cool birds and a few will winter in Florida. This individual is probably the same flycatcher seen at this location as last year. Maybe going back even longer.
This guy, sometimes, can be found hawking for bugs along a stretch of fencing on the western boundary of the Zemel Road Trash Dump in Charlotte County. Took me four tries till I was able to cross paths with the bird.
